I should explain further. The last owner or last to work on this put in a solenoid starter and ran 2 10 gage wires to a push button bolted through the cigarette lighter hole. I plan to return it to a foot starter. Just trying to keep from buying a new ignition switch if I don't have to.
red58, I think you may be right.
cletis, That's the way mine appears to be working. Don't know for certain without a key. Maybe I just need to remove the ignition and have a key made.
