Jock when I was growing up the parades were large and long. that has pretty much passed.
On another note, on a recent ski trip we listened to " A Hithchikers Guide to the Galaxy" which my boys had borrowed from the library..very funny stuff..are you familiar with it? apparently it started as a BBC radio play.
Maybe 42 is the answer to everything.
