This should be a no hassle swap. Like BC59 says there are few minor changes but this engine (261) came stock in the 4400 series which is the same cab with a different front fender. Our fire department still owns a '57 Chevy 5500 with the original 261. We have done some upgrades but it still starts and runs like a champ.
