no just for fun. i bought this truck when i quit drinking so i would have something todo in the garage other than sit their and get smashed. although i think i was more creative when i was drunk. lol i have a mindset that i can do anything so iam not afraid to try. some times it works and sometimes it doesn't. some day i will take pics of some of my projects and post them for you guys to see. as far as the crossmembers i am still working on my trans cross but now that i have started i will probably replace all the other crossmembers also.
