That oil pressure is low for a GMC but that wouldn't affect the running.

Sounds like a carb rebuild is in order.

If you have an adjustable main jet you could remove it and check for trash in the opening. Before you take it apart screw it all the way in and count the number of turns so you'll know where to set it going back.
