Hy fubar49, I don't really understand your question, are you concerned about the fenders hitting the ground? There are kits out there for mounting the old truck bodies on the "S" series chassis. Lowering the stance of the truck by using dropped spindles does not change the position of the cab relative to the chassis. If you could explain what your concern is a little better, maybe we could answer your question a little better.
