What kind of wood did you start with? I used white oak, and had a terrible time with the little pores in the wood. I would apply the POR15 and in about 10 minutes, little bubbles would appear. I basically kept sanding and painting until all the pores were filled before topping with POR Blackcoat.
Just wanted to point this out to anyone attempting to paint white oak.
