The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop mounting alt.on V8 /short water pump 53 1/2T

I took an Alternator from a 76 Chevelle and am going to mount it on the V8 small block in my 53.I am using the short water pump.The long shaft brackets that came from the Chevelle don't work.Are there any factory brackets that will fit or do I have to make one? Any info may be usefull.Thankyou
