Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 25 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 25 | My fire department is working on a 1945 1.5 ton firetruck. The truck was last run in 1977. So far we have taken off the master cylinder and wheel cylinders and all have been junk due to corrosion. The truck also has a power brake booster on it. I'm guessing this is also in rough shape. Were power brakes an option for this truck? Can we replumb the brake system without the power booster in order to save the cost? Thanks for any advice. | | |
