| | | | Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 11 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 11 | I bought a new steering wheel for my 65 C20 When I took off the old Wheel I found a mess. I doubt the column in here was meant for this truck. It was installed with a hammer I am sure. I can pull the steering shaft out four inches or so. It does not inspire confidence.
I found a Column out of a 65 C10 on ebay. Is replacing a Column a big deal requiring special tools? Will the C10 column fit and work in a C20? How long should I expect the job to take? Thanks | | |
