I've searched through this website for years, and I just recently got ready to buy a stovebolt. I found a 1946 Chevrolet 2 ton. It was only about 3/4 of a mile from my house.
There's basically no rust. The sheet metal is all straight. No bed, just cab and chassis. It has a 235.5 engine and a 4 speed tranny with PTO. This thing is all original. The hand crank was even behind the seat.
Front tires are trashed, rear are o.k. for now, but are probably not road worthy.
