I got the serial # off the block behind the dist. and looked it up in the tech tips under Engine Serial Number Prefixes. The tip says the letters and numbers in front of the serial # will tell me the year and displacement. The serial # I found is 0757824F255X so I am assuming that F is for Flint and that I have a 261 instead of a 235 in my 53 COE. Can anyone verify and what year am I looking at. If it is a 261 instead of a 235 is that good or bad? Thanks
