A 4 ply tire is only rated at 35 psi, so what's it going to hurt a 10 ply?
Insufficient air pressure will lead to exessive sidewall flex, causing heat buildup and premature sidewall failure. 35 would be the bare minimm I would consider in an E range tire, and that's even a bit too low.
