Ok, now did I go too far? After crimping the return line everything up top was oiling great, did some crusing around town and things seemed fine. All the rockers were oiling but not spashing around. It would idle without valve cover and not slosh oil out on the engine. I made my first highway run yesterday, since the rebuild and she ran great, but..... the oil pressure never left 60 lbs while at 55-60 mph. At idle pressure is at 30 lbs. Did I over do the crimp? Will I be in for trouble with oil pressure that high at highway speed? Pressure goes to 60lbs at about 1000 rpm and only comes down between shifts and at idle. Sigh... "No one said it was going to be easy"
