For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 229 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 229 | an old timer up here said the draft tubes didnt work very well. basically a venturiery affect to creat a vacuum in the crankcase. he said all they did was leak oil. i dont know if he is right or wrong. i was going to convert mine to pcv and i read on here someone used a pipe and installed a pcv on the top. i went one step further and figured out an oil fill tube off a early sixties v-8 intake is the same size. i ordered a chrome one and was going to install the pcv under the breather before the old timer talked me out of it. he said the breather cap is all i needed. anyway i put the tube in and looks great. anyway if you need an original draft tube send me a message i will hook you up.
