On a later 50's early 60's stove bolt distributor underneath the rotor at the top of the shaft should there be a piece of felt that gets a few drops of oil or does the grease cup at the base eliminate the need for it? I've seen other delco remy dizzies that have the felt but mine doesn't. Missing or not needed?

The other question is how much play is acceptable at the connection for the vacumn advance? There is enough play on mine to move the distributor on a horizontal plane back and forth by about 1/8". Seems like this would adveresely effect performance?
