For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 130 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 130 | The truck i am working on was raised in the back by flipping the spring pads up on top of the axle. I am lowering back to original but am wondering if they have to be flopped end for end or from side to side as the leaf springs are not parrallel to the axle so I am thinking they may be at an incorrect angle. I have flopped them down now but not sure if they are askew or not. The springs seems pretty close to their correct position to bolt up but maybe they are forced into position--don't know. any help appreciated as i have not done this before,----dave | | |
