Hey all,

So just got some new rubber motor mounts for my engine (235) and was in the process of reassembling them to install. Unfortunately i failed to take a 'before' picture of the front mount before i removed it and took it apart. I know how it reassembles but my question is in regards to the installation.

If you click on the link in my signature the first pic you should see is a side view of the front motor mount. Looking at the picture the metal plate on top has a small lip on the right side. This sticks out about an 1/8in farther then the left side, and has the downward curve.

My question is: Does the side with the lip (right in pic) install facing back towards the cab or forward away from it? Or, since the metal cover plate goes over everything, does it matter which direction the lip faces? It seems like it was made like that for a reason but...
Checked the Factory Assembly manual etc and all ive been able to find are blurryish unhelpful pictures.

Thanks in advance.
