I drove my
50 3/4-ton with original 216 approx 330 miles from Sullivan, IL to Fond du Lac, WI in May 2010. That was a long, hot day with lots of stops for oil, but no breakdowns.
I would do it again! If I still had the truck. Sadly I sold it in May 2011 after I lost my job - but I wish I hadn't.
Don't be afraid to take a few basic precautions and Do It.
