Per the serial number you have a 1934 Truck...

Here's the way your serial number 1PA089317 breaks down;

1 = Flint Assembly Plany (2=Tarrytown, 3=St. Louis, 21= Janesville, etc.)
P = 1934 Utility 1-1/2 Ton Truck
A = 131" Wheel Base with Single Wheels
08 = Month built (August 1934)
8317 = Unit number starting at 1001 (so you have the 7,317th PA out of Flint).

To confirm what year truck you have measure the rear spring mounts center to center;

1933 = 39-1/2"
1934 = 41"

Edit 2-10-12, this measurement is for 1/2 ton only...1-1/2 ton remains unchanged.
