That last one you were looking at might have been a Frankentruck Jim. I appears that the
‘52 only had a CHEVROLET emblem on the hood and did not have the series
designation plate maybe because of the war effort? At least that’s the way it looks in the
parts listing that we have at our disposal.

I posted this over at another thread where I looked this up about the side plates:
In the later parts books, the Series Designation plate listing for the 3100 1949 thru 51 was
pn.3692106. 1953 and ‘54 3100 used a pn.3700202. There is no listing for the ‘52 side
plate or the '55.

The 3600 listing for years 1949 thru 1954 was pn.3700203 apparently it was the only one
stocked anymore for those years. The 1955 1st 3600 AD seems to be ignored in the parts
books, possibly because they were using up whatever stock was left from the ‘54 AD in
preparation for the debut of the TF.

However, Frank50 did come up with a 55 1st series picture in the gallery that had a
different hood series designation plate than the earlier ones.
