Hi:
I'm new to this forum. I just picked up a 62 Chev with a 235 and 3 speed manual. The speedo wasn't working when I got it and I found the driven gear was missing from the transmission. Of course it was extra long and a tough one to find.
Anyway, now I've got it all working, but in the morning, when it's really cold, my speedo makes a horrible whining sound and the needle goes crazy - up to 100 and down to zero and back.
Anyone got any ideas what's going on and how I can fix it?
