I've got a 40X60 with 20X20 apartment at our weekend place. (will build future retirement home hopefully)Shop has 2 8x16 doors & 10' wall. Also have attic space 8X40 wide that I still need to build stairs up to. I had been planning for years to have "too much garage" but now have determined that it's an oxymoron as the space gets sucked up with all the "stuff" necessary to enjoy this hobby.
