As a few of you might have read im after a load of rear axle bits for my 49 1/2 ton.i have tried nearly every where now and get the same answer'no chance mate thats why every one swops out the axle',well what i dont get if the stuffs that hard to get why isnt it being made? and to make the situation dafter they make new halfshafts but not the side gears that fit on them !!!whats the point?
I see that you're UK based, have you tried getting hold of good secondhand parts on UK sites? could be worth having a look on
this site or
here if you've not been there already, lots of the UK based rodders change out the running gear on their trucks, I bought a complete stock 3100 front axle for not much a while ago.
