Statistics was one subject in which I forgot the details within minutes of completing the final exam! However, the odds are something like 1/the number of teeth on the cam sprocket, given the crankshaft is in a certain position. Now I know this is incorrect becaue the opposite view, whether the crank is lined up, would give a different number. I need help on this one!
