The '40-'46 End Gate Hinges are Group # 17.208 in most of the Master Parts Catalogs, and are also listed in the Special Model Supplement mentioned above printed in 1942. The part numbers for the upper hinge and link assembly are: 3800497 (LH) and 3800498 (RH). There are also some other part numbers listed for the Hinge Housing, Hinge Pin, and Hinge Reinforcement. The AD Subs had different parts numbers for these hinge pieces, so as has been said, the parts are different.
