| | | | Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 115 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 115 | On my truck I removed the steering column as a unit. Unbolted it and dropped it forward. On the brake pedal, it comes straight out, it is a splined shaft. The nut on the bottom hold it on. The Factory Assembly manual has good pictures on how all this went together and is a great help in disassembly. I can't help on the floor shifter, mine is a column shift.
