There should be weather stripping on both the door and the cab. You may be missing the cap weatherstrip. It slides into the channel on the inside of the cab. Replacement is available from many places. It can be pretty tough to slide a whole new strip in. I purchased one that I just couldn't make work. Then I purchased a good quality rubber one from Steele and it went in pretty nicely and looks and works great.
