three spd trans are easy to re and re. drop it and take the eng out by itself. just easier and then you don't have to worry about gear oil running out the back of the trans( you can always drain it first i know). just unbolt it from the bellhousing and just reverse that when you put it back. I can never understand why people take the bellhousing off to take the trans out
