Ron, I bought a kit from Old Air (Hurricane) for the 47-55 1st truck. Included was the bracket to mount the compressor low on the driver's side with a bracket extension above to mount the alt or power steering pump. I fabricated a pass side alt mount that runs 1 belt over the waterpump. A Buffalo Enterprises 2 groove modified 250 harmonic balancer provides the direct drive to the dr. side low mount a/c compressor. I'll mount my power steering pump above it and run it off the front groove in the 2 groove a/c compressor. This setup lets me run a 15" 6 blade fan on an adaptor plate early waterpump with ample fan/rad clearance and fan clearance with all the other pulleys. I've got a bunch of pics in my album of the setup. You may want to go a different way but the pics will give you some idea of the basic layout. BTW....I drive my truck everyday...the a/c operates great and the Toyo power steering will be my last add-on. I've used it on my FoMoCo trucks and it's an economical and clean conversion.
