There's another factor in valve train geometry beyond those you mentioned. Rocker arm pivot center. All factors together will give you the advertised lift, timing events and minimize guide and stem wear. These rocker arcs is part of that blueprint process. It won't matter much on most engs here,true, but If you're refacing rockers,why not at least restore to factory arc? The machine will also keep the pad square to the stem tip. David
