The good news is I have a working radio model 986443 and I have the skill to rebuild it. The bad news is the PO ripped the lower mounting brackets off it. I can fabricate new ones and either weld or silver solder them on but I don't know the dimensions. I need to know their width, their height off the case, the distance of the hole's center from the edge of the case, the distance between the holes, and the distance of the hole centers from the sides of the case. Can anyone help?
