Daniel,do you have any pics of the windshield aperature?
I shouldn't worry about cab flex,the urethane bond will form a flexible mount to some degree.
If the cab flexed enough to crack the glass,you would have bigger problems to worry about!
I imagine it's do-able but would like to see a pic or two before I commit myself........
