I'm looking at a Carter YF that has a Delco sticker stating "Rebuilt for General Motors Corporation by an Independent Rebuilder". There is no 3 or 4 digit number ending in "s" anywhere on the body. The air horn has the number "6-1658" cast in it. The body has "Carter YF", "Made in USA" and "2207" cast in it. The cast iron throttle body has the number "1-630" cast in it. I don't have the bolt spacing dimension. I searched the Forums for "1-630" and found one that also had "938s" on the body but this one doesn't have that. Could the "1-630" throttle body have been used on several different models? I'm looking for a Carter carb to put on my 1950 216. Any help ID'ing this thing would sure be appreciated. Thanks!
