Harry, I was looking at some old posts and saw your question about your hood emblem. I have a 53 3100 with the same problem except you can see under the hood where the bolts go. Did you check there? I have the emblem but the mounting brackets are missing and I don't know what they look like since I have never seen one off a truck. Hope you have figured out your problem. Steve 53Movinon
