I'm not up on that particular swap, but it sounds like a great truck to keep original. The 6-302 5-Speed sounds like a strong combination to me. I'm not much of a fan of an automatic in any truck, but a TH350 in a 4 X 4 along with a plow pushing snow is asking for a lot in my opinion.
