A little blue LocTite on the male thread of the elbow will keep it from trying to unscrew itself from the weight of the filter and normal engine vibrations without having to tighten it into the carb body excessively. If it ever needs to be removed, heating the fitting with a big soldering iron will loosen the thread locker. Jerry
