When I purchased it it did not have any kind of control in side or outside in one of the hoses to the engine. I do know that my type of heater was a dealer supplied one after purchase of the vehical. I guess to control the heated water or coolant one would have to put a control valve in one of the lines to stop the fluid from reaching the heater core. I have seen such valve on newer vehicals. Well some time in the future I'll find one and install it. Do you have any photo's of your truck? My 63' | | |
