How wide is your bed?
1939= 46.5 inches wide
1940-1947.1= 48.5 inches
1947.2-1987= 50 inches
There is something about the radius of that running board that doesn't look right either. More pics might clear things up. It's really hard to tell from the 1 pic provided.
There are fiberglass fenders and running boards available. Steel boards and fenders are a bit harder to find.
