My '53 had a Dietz 111 4-wire turn signal in the truck that wasn't working. 3 wires went to the turn mechanism and 1 wire to the indicator light. The truck has separate turn lights.
Pic1 Pic2 The old cloth wiring was a mess so I pulled it to clean it up. I've seen some different wiring diagrams so I just need a confirmation. Using a 3 pin 6V flasher it was wired: Fused 6V to pin (X), pin (L) to B stud on turn mechanism and pin (P) to the light. Does that sound correct?
Does it need grounded through the turn signal body assembly to the steering column?
