I don't even know if GMC used the same front and rear axles as Chevys then. My 3.90 are fine on the highway with my 32" tall tires.
If you take the seals out any parts store can get the replacements off of the numbers on the old seals. But I like having my new parts in hand before I take something apart, so I understand if you don't want to do that.
