I have posted on here multiple times over the last year as I have tried to get the T-5 swap in my '52 done. Everyone has been extremely helpful and I am very appreciative. Unfortunately I continue to have problems...

I am taking it to a professional as one of the noises I have pinpointed is in the rearend (spider gears or pinion - combination of noise and play) and is beyond my abilities.

A lesser noise (one that is harder to distinguish) is in the clutch assembly. When the clutch is pushed in (released from the flywheel) the noise does not exist but otherwise it is present. Cannot figure out what this noise is either and I have had the tranny out and checked measurements more than a dozen times, elongated the splines, had the tranny opened up and inspected, etc. This is something I will continue to try and figure out, not sure if I can afford to pay a shop to figure it out for me. Any suggestions would be appreciated. After the truck returns from the shop I will try shimming the tranny to check for preloading.

More of an update than anything else and again thanks for being so helpful and patient with a newer hobbyist!
