If you are too cheap to buy a manual for your truck, you are in the wrong hobby and you are going to be very frustrated wrenching on your project.
As Denny stated above, new shiny reprints of the shop manuals, the supplements, the owner manual, the factory accessory assembly manual and the factory assembly manuals are available for these old trucks.
