I did the change on my 52-3100 bought the adapter from clasic and used a master from a 67 c-10 pickup it also had drum front and rear. The big plus in buying the adapter is you get all the bolts and nuts and the adjustment rod to install the master the right way.
One thing I did if you look on the clutch arm coming out of the frame it has a rubber bumper on it so the clutch arm does not bang against the cab . When you change to a new style master it does not have the rod fixed to the master ,so I ordered a rubber bumper for a clutch arm and fitted it to the brake arm so that the arm doesn't bang against the cab.
