Exhaust and intake are two different animals. Nothing but the ceramic coatings will stay bright and shiny on a exhaust manifold. The questions was about intakes, so I stand by my answer, powder coating is a good choice. And for the record, the attaching points of intake to exhaust are still looking just as good as the day I put them together.
