| | | | Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 239 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 239 | My '55 1st series also had shaved exterior door handles. They did not do a good job welding the holes. I drilled the hole and used a grinder for finishing the hole requirements. Turned out great. I now have the original exterior door handles on the truck. Good luck.
