After purchasing my truck in 1986 and moving it around a coule of times (following a complete disassembly and motor re-build)I now have both some time and money to work on it. I hae an electrician installing power in my one-car (one-truck) garage to support an air compressor (230VA) and a MIG welding machine (230VA) and several 110VA outlets. I have not uyet purchased either the compresso or the welding machine and looking for some recommendations regarding both. I want to try and do as much of the work myself as i can, including soda blasting, wleding on body patch pieces, and at least application of a good prime coat. The chassis and all body parts have been blasted and primed and for the most part garage kept. having not known better, I am strongly considering having the frame cleaned yet again and have it powder coated. Interested in any suggestions.
