I gently knocked the bolts out with a small hammer with the nuts still on there (so it doesnt mushroom the end) until the nuts hit the arm. then i just knocked them out the rest of the way with a punch. I believe my driver side was tight like yours. For the kingpins, just take the nut off the pin and knock it out.. i used a punch to knock it out. Im pretty sure the kit i bought had new lock pins in there so i really didnt take caution on messing them up.
