1950 3800 1-ton.
Trying to pull the steering arm off its bolts so I can pull off the brake flange plate and pound out those kingpins. Is that thing pressed on somehow? I cannot for the life of me get that thing to separate or the bolts to come out. If it wasn't so tight I'd push the pickle-fork in there but its a little too tight and don't want to break anything.
Also, does the kingpin lockpin just slide out once unbolted? Or is there another secret to getting that pin out of there? Thanks | | |
