Hi all,
Just joined, but I've been reading here for some time. I am building a 51 3100 hot rod for the wife. You know the type; Chevy 350, TH350, Mustang II front end, bright yellow paint, etc. etc. It has been very slow and I believe I have bitten off much more than I can chew.
Tomorrow I am getting an unmolested 1950 3600 dropped off at the house. My excuse for buying it was that I needed a "pattern" truck to look at as I assembled the 3100. It sounded good at the time. The 3600 is quite rough, but pretty cool. It has the 216 with the 4 speed on the floor. Very original I think. It is missing the air cleaner so I ordered an old original off EBay tonight.
